ERA REAL ESTATE BOWLING FOR
MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION Second Annual Bowl-a-thon a Success PARSIPPANY, NJ, June 24, 2003 – In conjunction with the ERA® "Day in May for MDA," an annual event held throughout the country for brokers and sales associates to host fundraisers for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), the second annual ERA® Bowl-a-thon was held recently by ERA Real Estate and Cendant Real Estate Group Franchise employees from the Parsippany, NJ office. Twenty-one employees bowled for dollars at Madison Lanes, raising close to $3,000 for the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Participants wore t-shirts donated by Merrill Corporation and a digital camera, donated by Boise, was won by the participant that raised the most funds. "Through this team effort, our Bowl-a-thon raised enough money to send five children to MDA summer camp," said Angela McNiece, Director of Integrated Marketing for ERA Real Estate, and one of the organizers of the event. "I would like to thank everyone who participated in the event, especially our other Bowl-a-thon organizer, Michele Dedyo, Awards Specialist. The time she donated to this event was greatly appreciated." For 27 years, the Muscular Dystrophy Association has been the "charity of choice" for the ERA® System, and is the only real estate brand represented at the national Labor Day Telethon. Over the years, the ERA® System has raised more than $30,0000,000 for the MDA.
